Video: Bill Dooley Pigskin Preview

Tobacco Road had the honor of being the sponsor for this year's Bill Dooley Pigskin Preview--an event featuring UNC’s Butch Davis, Duke’s David Cutcliffe, N.C. State’s Tom O’Brien, East Carolina’s Ruffin McNeill and N.C. Central’s Henry Frazier III for lunch and comments from the coaches about the upcoming season. Proceeds from the event go towards the Bill Dooley Scholarship Fund. Check out the video footage of the event here: http://www.wralsportsfan.com/rs/video/9881365/. Our very own Brian Amra (sitting between Tom O'Brien and Dave Cutcliffe) gives some short remarks at about the 56 minute point on the video. Photos also posted below. We really enjoyed sponsoring and attending the event.

Raleigh Dog Olympics, This Saturday!

Don't miss the Raleigh Dog Olympics, this Saturday, Sept. 11 at Moore Square in downtown Raleigh.
From raleighdogolympics.com:

Dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and breeds are invited to join in this year's Dog Olympics, sponsored in part by Unleashed, the Dog Store!  Read all about the events and prizes here.
Don't have a dog?  That's OK too!  You can visit with dogs from different rescues that need homes (and maybe answer one of their prayers); or just enjoy the demonstrations, including one from the Raleigh Police Department K-9 Unit.
Dog not the competitive type?  That's OK too!  Bring him or her to get a FREE microchip from the Raleigh Kennel Club, or pick up some goodies to take to a stay-at-home pooch.
Any way you come, you will help support local rescues, shelters, and the Student Chapter of the American Animal Hospital Association at the College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University!
